LOS ANGELES, CA, October 01, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- ERNEST, the first unified app for car security and home control, announces the launch of its Kickstarter campaign. The campaign is scheduled to start on October 28.
Based in Florida, ERNEST is the brainchild of European tech entrepreneur, Arturs Pumpurs. His intent was to create an interactive mobile butler that gives users the ability to access their car, garage door, and home gate through a single, unified and secure mobile app.
Arturs Pumpurs developed the vision for the ERNEST app after encountering various problems with the security of his own car and property. Most of current immobilizers and remote controls for gates tend to create a lot of unnecessary clutter in owners' pockets and tend to run out of batteries during very inconvenient moments. It's expensive to replace them and it takes a lot of time. An additional challenge is providing access for guests, family members, or business associates without creating numerous copies of the remote controls or creating complicated logistics schemes to accommodate everyone.
With this is mind Arturs Pumpurs decided to develop a "mobile butler" -- devices connected in a single mobile app that would allow users to control their car, garage, gates and home access. Arturs assembled a high-calibre team of internationally recognized designers, developers, and business executives. Arturs brought his leadership and business savvy from a 10-year career at Stoli Vodka. He recruited Fionn Dobbin, a creative mogul, co-founder of MAMMU, and director of the Creative Industries Program at the Stockholm School of Economics. Fionn's past successes with General Motors and Adidas, positioned him for success with the ERNEST start-up. Maija Rozenfelde, a Pratt Institute alumnus, joined the team to lend her experience working with brands such as Barnes & Noble, Smirnoff, and IBM. Rozenfelde's expertise, visual problem solving, gave her an edge in producing the sleek UX and cutting-edge design of the app and its hardware components.
ERNEST is the first mobile security app that provides the owner an easy and secure way of sharing access to ones home within a click. Whether it is a car, garage door, or gates it can be opened by one ERNEST app, if the person has received the invitation. One can control numerous gates or cars and share the access to as many people as wanted. A typical suburban family in the US owns several vehicles, thus it will have approximately two cars with immobilizers and sometimes even up to 6 remote controls. Now this exact family would just install ERNEST BT gate system and immobilizers in their cars, and would only need a phone to install ERNEST mobile app. Everything that is necessary can be done fast and easy, through the app in a matter of seconds. ERNEST features a 3-tier security system, which operates via the latest Bluetooth 4.0. It is low energy and ranges up to 100 metres.
The Kickstarter campaign will last for 40 days, beginning on October 28. The goal of the campaign is to popularize ERNEST unified system and continue developing new ERNEST products. Along the Kickstarter campaign the new Bluetooth Immobilizer version of the ERNEST suite has been released - further range with the Bluetooth 4.0 technology, new software with full auto connect and more secure- two times smaller design.
Additionally, Kickstarter backers will gain early bird access to all products at rock-bottom prices. In the updated version Arturs and his team plan to implement a broader spectrum of new features than before, and reach more people in need of high quality and affordable safety solutions for their homes and vehicles.
