Women of Distinction Magazine Selects Sonya Huff as a Distinguished Professional in Her Field

    LITHONIA, GA, October 01, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sonya Huff, Licensed Outreach Minister of Mission Accomplished Ministry, Inc., has been recognized as a Distinguished Professional in her field through Women of Distinction Magazine. Sonya Huff will be featured in an upcoming edition of the Women of Distinction Magazine in 2016.

Community Activist and Licensed Outreach Minister of Mission Accomplished Ministry, Inc. Sonya Huff founded her non-profit organization in 2009 to help those less fortunate in her community. Feeding the homeless and ministering residents in and around Lithonia, Georgia and Atlanta, Georgia, it's important that she not only deliver food, but hope as well.

"Over the years I've witnessed hunger and depression, so it's not enough to just feed the community but also feed their souls by ministering to the broken hearted," Huff said. "Sometimes people don't know what they need until it's actually given to them. It fills my heart when I see the light come on in their eyes from having their appetites filled and their souls nourished."

Mission Accomplished Ministry, Inc. is a non-profit, Christian based ministry that serves men, women, and children with a goal to end homelessness and poverty and a vision to make a difference within their community.

Huff has been helping others for as long as she can remember. As a child she would go out into the neighborhood with her grandparents to feed those in need, and would sometimes welcome them back to the house to feed them a hot meal. The local government would even drop off lunches at her grandparent's house to contribute to their efforts. Huff was greatly inspired to do good work and she continues to pay it forward through her Mission Accomplished Ministry every single day.
