Arizona Nonprofit MIKID Receives Digital Makeover in 1 Day!

    PHOENIX, AZ, October 01, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- On October 14th, 2016 One Day Digital Makeover will bring local phoenix tech companies together to provide a digital make over to a nonprofit, and MIKID was selected as the winner for 2016. In a single day MIKID will get a new website, a new app, a new Donor Database and a new social media presence supported by four different companies.

"We carefully selected the right nonprofit that not only can roll-up their sleeves and get dirty, but also one that really impacts our community and MIKID was just a natural choice," says Camilla Parker, CEO, Yoloteck, Inc.

MIKID has been in Arizona for over 29 years serving families of children with emotional and behavioral challenges. This contest was a way to high-five a nonprofit in Phoenix and open up the opportunities they have digitally. CEO, Dick Geasland remarked, "We were really surprised and excited when we were chosen, and now we are even more excited to see our resources grow, build out a mobile app and increase our online presence."

Her organization is creating MIKID'S first mobile app. MIKID will also receive a new website from YOLOteck, Inc., a start-up working directly with nonprofits and building their online presence, and a full suite of software donated by Microsoft specifically for this event.

GreenDot Creative will be leading the efforts to launch a new Microsoft Dynamics CRM system taking MIKID from a spreadsheets to digital automation by launching a new cloud-based donor database. Collins Digital Media will be leading the effort to create social media automation for MIKID's social media presence.

All four companies will be live-streaming their activities throughout the day on YouTube Live and everyone is invited to watch and learn.
