"When members of the board and I heard about what Everywhere Wireless could offer residents, we thought it made sense to allow them to enter the market alongside RCN and AT&T," said Greg Friske
CHICAGO, IL, September 30, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- On Thursday, August 25th, 2016, the Chicago-based Internet service provider, Everywhere Wireless, collaborated with property managers of DK Condo and DK Living for a fun-filled evening in River West, Chicago's near-northwest neighborhood, where Gigabit has been the talk of the area.
Along with the opportunity to mingle with their coworkers over complimentary drinks and appetizers, property managers were able to become more familiar with Everywhere Wireless and its Gigabit+ Internet services. They did not have to go very far for references, as many buildings managed by Draper and Kramer already provide residents with the fastest, most reliable Internet in Chicago. In 2012, Everywhere Wireless became Chicago's 4th Internet provider, alongside Comcast, AT&T and RCN.
Two such buildings are The Stratford Condominium Association at 2605 South Indiana Avenue and 474 North Lake Shore Drive, both of which include Internet services in their monthly assessments. The former went through a complete telecommunications upgrade that wired each of the building's 206 units with Gigabit Ethernet cabling in December of 2015. The latter, 474 North Lake Shore Drive, became a high-profile deal for Everywhere Wireless when the company replaced another local ISP. Everywhere Wireless provides all 501 units with a bulk Internet base package of 100 Mbps download and upload speeds, also known as symmetrical speeds.
"Everywhere Wireless outperformed our expectations. Communication was great and the Stratford Condominium Association is looking forward to a long, mutually beneficial business relationship with a quality company such as Everywhere Wireless," said Paul Patras, Community Manager of DK Condo. "It isn't often you get to work with a company who is ahead of schedule and under budget when delivering their services.''
Everywhere Wireless also recently added another DK Condo building, 1250 North LaSalle Drive, to their exponentially-growing portfolio. Here, they will be delivering the company's 5-star Yelp rated services on a unit-by-unit basis, alongside other competitors in the building. "Although many people think Internet is Internet, fortunately for us, it really isn't; quality plays a significant role in the satisfaction of consumers these days, which has nothing to do with speed," stated Quinn Murphy, Associate Director of Marketing for Everywhere Wireless.
"When members of the board and I heard about what Everywhere Wireless could offer to residents here, we all thought it made sense to allow them to enter the market alongside RCN and AT&T," said Greg Friske, property manager for DK Condo at 1250 North LaSalle Drive. "We did our due diligence researching similar service providers and at the end of the day, the Board agreed Everywhere Wireless was the best choice for this community."
"When the opportunity to organize and sponsor this event came to the table, we welcomed it without a second guess," said Murphy, "It was a great way to get our two industries in the same room, in a casual setting, to discuss the commonality we all share - wanting residents to be happy with the services provided in their homes."
According to their website, Draper and Kramer, Incorporated, is a vertically integrated property and financial services company that has a long history of the successful creation, enhancement, and management of first-class real estate. Headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, Draper and Kramer is led by President and Chief Executive Officer, Forrest D. Bailey, great-grandson of founder Adolph Kramer. The primary services they offer include: management of multi-family residential (rental and condominium) and commercial properties (office, industrial and retail), arranging debt and equity financing for commercial property, residential mortgage banking, and acquisitions and development.
Everywhere Wireless owns and manages a Chicago-based Gigabit Internet Network, designed for multi-family communities and businesses, some of which include Cisco, CBS, Nike, Google and the Art Institute. Everywhere Wireless partnered with the City of Chicago to deliver Wi-Fi to many of Chicago's beaches and parks including additions last summer at 31st Street and 57th Street. This year, the company expanded its Wi-Fi coverage to Oak Street Beach and recently activated a free Wi-Fi network at Buckingham Fountain and Museum Campus. EW's network offers speeds of up to and more than 1,000 megabits per second (Mbps), also known as Gigabit speeds. More information can be found online at www.EverywhereWireless.com.
