WEST BATH, ME, October 04, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The demand by homeowners for better fitting sheets for their home mattresses has helped prompt Quahog Bay Bedding to expand their manufacturing business into a new Morton Building location in West Bath scheduled to be built in the coming weeks.
As of December 1, 2016, Quahog Bay employees will manufacture the company's CinchFit adjustable bed sheets in this bright, roomy 1,800 sq. ft. space.
Offered in various sizes, colors and fabric options, CinchFit sheets feature braided and cord elastic sewn into the fitted sheet. A cord lock keeps the fitted sheet cinched snugly in place on the mattress, and a cord storage pocket which keeps the excess cording neat when the sheet is on the mattress or being laundered.
What is very exciting is that Quahog Bay Bedding is replacing the "custom" in boat bedding by offering Universal V Berth size sheet sets, which allow a great solution for irregular bed sizes and smaller settee berths.
"We started just two years ago as a boat bedding company because I couldn't find affordable sheets to comfortably fit the V Berth mattress in my 36-foot sailboat," said Quahog Bay founder and president, Beth McLeod.
"With some imaginative thinking and innovation, we solved the problem with a design that allows one larger-size fitted sheet to cinch smaller to fit many mattress and cushion sizes. We soon found that not only did many of my fellow boat-owners love this solution, but so too did homeowners nationwide."
Today, Quahog Bay's most popular home sheet sizes include Split King and Split Flex King Sheet Sizes that fit adjustable mattresses. Customers love that the sheets stay on adjustable mattresses and do not pop off.
Offered in several colors and in cotton, flannel or bamboo, each Quahog Bay Custom sheet set contains a fitted sheet, top sheet, and two queen pillow cases. The company's Universal fitted V Berth sheets fit sailboats from 22' to 40' and their larger Universal XL V Berth sheet sets fit even the largest power boat V Berths.
While the new West bath location will be the home of Quahog Bay sheets, pillowcases, curtains, quilts, and more, the company also offers a comprehensive line of products for the dining and kitchen areas.
