Heather Rawlings Davis will be featured in an upcoming edition of Women of Distinction Magazine's Top 10 Women of 2016.
Based in Appleton, Wisconsin and now available in three varieties of flavors in grocery, retail, and specialty shops across the country, Owner of PolliWogs Co. Heather Rawlings Davis is known for her three delectable chocolate sauces, which are available in hot fudge, caramel, and chocolate raspberry. The cocoa is all grown with sustainable farming practices and techniques, and the hot fudge and chocolate raspberry choices are both gluten free for those with dietary restrictions.
"Our sauces are made with imported Belgian Chocolate and we are fortunate to work with one of the best freight forwarding teams," Davis said, who oversees everything from food production and processing and storing to packing, shipping and receiving responsibilities.
Before years' end, Davis will be attending various events to promote her business, including at the Osthoff Resort in Wisconsin, the International Chocolate Festival in Portugal, and the Broadmoor Chocolate Festival in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
PolliWogs Co. maintains both their retail and commercial kitchens in Wisconsin, operating an average of 20-40 employees at any given time, and boasts 3,000 offices in total. Their chocolate and caramel flavors are offered worldwide and the success of PolliWogs Co. over the past eight years has been incredible. As a result, the company is now producing their own children's toys as well, including the Polli Wogs Deep Blue TM Snorkeling Set, which was recently submitted to the Toy Industry Association for the 2016 Toy Awards consideration in two different categories, and a Polli Wogs doll that was created and featured at the 2015 PlayCon and will be released for sale once the brand's development goals are reached.
Davis is the Author of several children's books, including 'Polli Wogs', which is available on BarnesandNoble.com. 'Polli Wogs' is the story of a girl and her adventures (genre: realistic fiction). Other books include: 'Polli Wogs & Friends'; 'Duck Gets a New Hat'; and the Spanish edition of 'El Pato Consigue Un Nuevo Sombrero'.
Earning her Bachelor's in Political Science and Public Relations at the University of Wisconsin at Madison and later switching gears to complete her Master's in Education, Davis taught the third grade and coached track and field in Wisconsin before relocating to Tucson, Arizona. While looking for employment, she enrolled in Pima College's 'Be Your Own Boss' course, which sparked an interest in following her passion of entrepreneurship.
PolliWogs Co. was featured in Barnes & Noble and Williams and Sonoma in the summer of 2016. They are also actively involved with ProStart, Banner Health, and trademarked Dine In & Carry Out for Cancer. PolliWogs Co. is a company that challenges others to give back to their communities.
Davis is currently active as a member of Teachers Paying Teachers, where she is also able to sell her books. PolliWogs Co. recently started the P.Wogs Edible Science project to benefit MD Anderson Children's Cancer Center.
