Shortly after beginning her first aviation job with Trans States Airlines as a crew scheduler then dispatcher, she was promoted to her current position as a System Operations Dispatch Manager. In this role, she is responsible for the airline while on shift, and she undertakes a number of logistical duties to ensure safe, efficient, and timely flights.

Ms. Cooper prepared for this career by earning a Bachelor of Science in air traffic management from LeTourneau University, an airline dispatcher certificate from Jeppesen Academy, and an Associate of Science in air traffic control from LeTourneau University. She continues to build on that knowledge base by taking the time to experience what her colleagues work with on a daily basis. With this experience, she can make more educated decisions that benefit the whole airline instead of just one department.
