About John Kahn and Dr. Rhoney Gissen Stanley
Long Island native John Kahn designed and created sets and costumes for Jim Henson and Fraggle Rock Touring Company (The Muppets). More recently, John designed the sets for Phillipe Petit's one-man show "Wireless!" He lives on Easter Island and created the Easter Island ECHO Foundation to support and preserve the local Rapa Nui culture.
Dr. Rhoney Gissen Stanley bought Tower House in 2007 to write her book "Owsley and Me: My LSD Family" with writer Tom Davis, of Saturday Night Live fame. "In this wild memoir of life with the media-crowned "Acid King," she (Gissen Stanley) captures the perfectionist genius who also transformed audio technology, created jewelry, advocated a carnivorous diet and studied to be a ballet dancer."--High Times Magazine
