Sundae Spa Partners with National Charity To Go Mobile

To kick off the campaign, Sundae Spa hosted the children from Make-A-Wish Foundation of Connecticut on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at their location in the Connecticut Post Mall in Milford, Connecticut for an afternoon gala of glitz and glamour to celebrate taking the first step by launching the crowdfunding campaign live on Indiegogo so that the whole world can help these special children. This special day designed for Connecticut Make-A-Wish children included eye kandy make up; making spa products; creating fairy dust bracelets; playing dress-up; making slime; glitter tattoos; face paint and even creating fairy and troll doors. As Sundae Spa's further commitment to this organization that they hold near and dear to their hearts, the spa is always available to the charity at NO CHARGE for kids' events.

Sundae Spa's plans to initially bring the Wish Upon A Sundae Spa Mobile to four locations - Hartford, CT; Boston, MA; Philadelphia, PA; and New York, NY hosting 12-15 children from the charity for the best party ever. Additionally, a party will be auctioned off in each market giving all the proceeds to the national charity partner. Sundae Spa has created a magical party and event packages dedicated to this charity and a percentage of all parties sold will go directly back to the charity to grant more wishes. As Sundae Spa's further commitment to this cause that they hold near and dear to their hearts, the spa is always available to the charity at NO CHARGE for kids' events.

Sundae Spa combines science with a spa experience makes kids want to learn while they feel good about themselves. In business now for six years, Sundae Spa's owner, the Swan family, has always been active in the community but realized that not all their own wishes or the wishes of kids who are experiencing illness have been met.

Kim Swan, chief innovator, decided the only way to reach all children throughout the region and ultimately throughout the country would be to design a Sundae Spa on wheels that could go anywhere and bring their unique spa experience to those who need it most. Reaching out to the public to help them reach this goal seemed like the natural next step. Thus, a crowdfunding campaign was created to bring Wish Upon A Sundae Spa on the road.

So imagine sitting back enjoying a cotton candy pedicure while you devour a princess ice cream sundae specially prepared for you. Then, you move on to fruit loops manicure topped off with a hair wrap in hot pink and orange and some glitter make-up to complete the day of spa perfection while enjoying a heavenly 'Sundae Spa' atmosphere complete with cupcakes on the walls and cherries hanging from the ceiling. Sundae Spa is the brilliant concept of science teacher Kimberly Swan with the support of her husband Ron and the seven girls they raised.
