A Special Thank You for Law Enforcement

    LINDEN, NJ, October 18, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- On September 27, Jeff Rosen, National Director of Lending to America's Heroes for AnnieMac Home Mortgage, purchased lunch for the Linden Police Department to thank them for capturing the alleged terrorist who set off bombs in New York and New Jersey.

He also gave gift certificates to the four officers involved in the shootout and the capture of Ahmad Khan Rahami -- including officer Peter Hammer, who was shot in the face.

"All the men and women were so gracious and appreciative of the gesture," Jeff said. "I was humbled when Officer Peter Hammer came in and I personally handed him the gift and thanked him for his bravery. Pete was very appreciative and kept thanking me for my kindness. I was the one that thanked him over and over again. He is a true hero!"

Jeff spent nearly two hours in the Linden Police Department talking to the officers about how much AnnieMac, along with the public in general, appreciates their service and sacrifice.

Jeff is considered the civilian most honored by New Jersey law enforcement, with awards including: Silver Card holder (the highest honor a civilian can have), Friend in Labor Valor Award-winner for 2015, Man of the Year 2014, and Civilian Award-winner of the Bergen County Conference.
