Pacific Premier Bank Partners With Susan G. Komen Orange County

    IRVINE, CA, October 19, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Pacific Premier Bank and Susan G. Komen Orange County have formed a creative and powerful partnership to sponsor mobile mammography and outreach efforts throughout Orange County.

The 2016 sponsorship will focus on breast cancer education, awareness, and invaluable medical screening services. In an effort to reach low-income and underserved communities, Pacific Premier Bank and Komen Orange County will partner to deliver mobile mammography services - with a concentrated focus on serving the county's most critical needs.

Pacific Premier Bank is proud to show its support by providing a $50,000, two-year grant to sponsor the mobile mammography and outreach efforts to Hispanic women in Anaheim, Buena Park, Santa Ana and San Juan Capistrano - where Latina populations historically have statistically higher rates of late-stage breast cancer diagnosis. This partnership is consistent with the Bank's commitment to meeting the needs of its communities consistent with the Community Reinvestment Act.

The partnership will last for two full years, with particular emphasis placed on the month of October, which is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Pacific Premier Bank will also provide internal employee breast cancer awareness education throughout October, and branch employees will wear branded pink polo shirts with the breast cancer awareness ribbon every Friday in October. Branches will also display educational information to help increase awareness of breast cancer.
