Matthew L. Uhles is New Chief Operating Officer for Clayton Sleep Institute

Manages all business aspects of CSI clinics, research center and sleep programs.



    ST. LOUIS, MO, October 21, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Clayton Sleep Institute (CSI) announces Matthew L. Uhles, MS, R.PSGT, previously CSI Vice President of Diagnostics, Research and Technology now serves as Chief Operating Officer, managing all business aspects of CSI, including the sleep clinics, the research center, the insomnia programs and educational outreach.

Uhles has more than 26 years of clinical and business experience in virtually all aspects of the practice of sleep medicine. He has served as a principal investigator in research trials in the areas of insomnia, pain and sleep, stress and sleep and CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure devices) compliance. He is an experienced educator and presenter of topics in sleep and sleep disorders and has been published in scholarly sleep journals. Uhles has managed multiple sleep laboratories and developed extensive training programs, certified by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, for sleep technicians. He consults on the business and technology of sleep clinics with clients throughout the country.

In this new position Uhles is directly responsible for the operations of CSI clinical programs, the CSI Research Center and CSI partner sleep clinics throughout the region. Uhles will direct the leadership of business and marketing divisions, including CSI's corporate wellness program.

Uhles is a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist and a member of the American Associated Sleep Technologists. He earned a Master of Science degree in Experimental Psychology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, both from Saint Louis University. He spent his early professional career in research and academic positions with the Multidisciplinary Sleep Medicine Center at Washington University School of Medicine. Uhles serves as an advisor to and speaker for "Tyler Raising Education about Driving Drowsy," http://www.TyREDD.com, an organization that advances education about the signs, dangers and prevention of drowsy driving in teenagers.
