SAN DIEGO, CA, October 27, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- A fresh new improvisational, comedy style venue has come to Old Town San Diego, where guests will enjoy interactive entertainment like they have never experienced before. Old Town Improv isn't your standard comedy venue. Right now you can join us for the new preview shows, 'Campfire Live' and "Slumber Party'. Let your mind sit on that for a minute! Weekends will typically feature 'Short Form' game shows -(similar to the show, "Who's Line is it Anyway?"), as well as 'Long Form' experiences, (20-40 minute non-stop scenes built around audience suggestions. The 'Improv Jam' will include assorted styles of improv that will make for an unpredictable comedic experience and well worth a mid-week night out!
Old Town Improv founder Donny Dunstone says, "Improv is NOT stand-up comedy - it is entertainment that highlights pop culture while creating spontaneous interaction with the audience." Dunstone continues, "It is engaging, funny and always a unique experience."
But Old Town Improv is not only here for your entertainment pleasure. It serves as a teaching space as well. It will offer classes designed to improve an individual's communications skills, and strengthen corporate teamwork with special programs. Both on-site and off-site corporate team building sessions allows management and sales teams to create a more dynamic relationship with clients and co-workers.
Old Town Improv is fitting for all ages. In addition to the classes offered for adults, it will offer classes for children and teens. The expert classes incorporate basic elements that assist in daily interaction with friends, family and school. These classes start for the beginner and increase in skill to advanced. Weekly courses last 6-8 weeks and drop-in's will be offered, so that you can get a feel for what an improve class is all about. In addition, a very important part of classes, will be those offered to Youth in Need.

"We've spent years crafting a professional, innovative, and well-designed curriculum. Our teachers have been doing this work for a long time, too. In fact, they're some of the most experienced improvisors and instructors in San Diego."
With preview shows taking place on weekends, Old Town Improv will hold its Grand Opening on November 18th.
