CHICAGO, IL, October 28, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- On September 22nd, 2016, the South Loop neighborhood was introduced to the technologically-advanced, residential high-rise 1001 South State, which made its debut with an open house. Chicago-based Gigabit Internet provider, Everywhere Wireless, hosted the event that welcomed hundreds of potential residents and neighbors interested in touring the 397-unit luxury residential tower.
"The 1001 South State building itself is very impressive and reflects the exciting growth happening in the South Loop," said Jim Kasmer, owner of Hand & Stone Spa. "Thanks again to Everywhere Wireless for sponsoring the event and including Hand & Stone Spa."
The event showcased the luxury high-rise's state-of-the-art amenities, as well as an outdoor pool and sundeck, complete with Wi-Fi-enabled cabanas, grilling stations and a hot tub. Attendees were also treated to complimentary food (courtesy of Jimmy Green's, Belly Up Smokehouse and Saloon, Aurelio's Pizza and Ruth and Phil's Gourmet Ice Cream), beer and wine (provided by Motor Row Brewing, Baderbrau and Sipp Brands) and massages from Hand & Stone Spa.
"The planning was seamless," said Kellee Divine, the property manager of 1001 South State. "Everywhere Wireless thought of everything, and made it easy for the property staff to relax and enjoy the event," which took place in the resident lounge, one of the many amenity spaces available. Along with a Makerspace, living biowall and yoga studio, residents can also boast about having access to Chicago's fastest Internet - a full 1,000 Mbps (or one Gigabit), provided by Everywhere Wireless.
"What a great way to bring the neighborhood together," said Divine. "Residents and vendors alike are still talking about how much fun they had at the event!"
"We had a wonderful time meeting our new South Loop neighbors at the 1001 event," said Alaya Turnbough, a server and party coordinator for Jimmy Green's. "It's such a warm and beautiful space and we hope to see some of our new friends at Jimmy Green's in the near future!"
1001 South State, which opened in August of 2016, is just one of the many buildings tapping Everywhere Wireless for its 5-star rated Gigabit+ Internet service.
"When you think about what the modern city-dweller is looking for in their home, fast, reliable Internet is one of the first things that comes to mind," said Quinn Murphy, Associate Director of Marketing for Everywhere Wireless. "No one has time to wait on hold with customer service while Netflix is buffering."
Everywhere Wireless owns and manages a Chicago-based Gigabit Internet Network, designed for multi-family communities and businesses, some of which include Cisco, CBS, Nike, Google and the Art Institute. Everywhere Wireless partnered with the City of Chicago to deliver Wi-Fi to many of Chicago's beaches and parks including additions last summer at 31st Street and 57th Street. This year, the company expanded its Wi-Fi coverage to Oak Street Beach and recently activated a free Wi-Fi network at Buckingham Fountain and Museum Campus. EW's network offers speeds of up to and more than 1,000 megabits per second (Mbps), also known as Gigabit speeds. More information can be found online at www.EverywhereWireless.com.
