UPPER SADDLE RIVER, NJ, November 02, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- On November 1, global medical communications company Health & Wellness Partners (HWP) added another award to its trophy case with the receipt of the Corporate Culture Award from SmartCEO at a live event held at Starland Ballroom. HWP and other award recipients were chosen by an independent committee of local business leaders.
According to SmartCEO, "The Corporate Culture Awards program honors companies that foster a creative, collaborative workplace culture to enhance performance and sustain a competitive advantage." Since the formation of HWP in 2005, the company has been committed to employee satisfaction and development, employee health and wellness, and giving back to the community. This commitment has paid dividends in terms of employee and client satisfaction and retention.
HWP provides every full-time employee with 21 hours of paid time off each year to volunteer for worthy causes. The benefits package also includes profit sharing, tuition reimbursement, flexible work schedules, fitness classes with a personal trainer, a weekly massage service, standing workstations, healthy snacks, and many other "perks" throughout the year.
"We are thrilled to receive this honor from SmartCEO," said HWP president Jani Hegarty. She added, "If you want people to follow, you have to lead. That's why you'll see me and my partners Bonnie Welsch and Audrey Pezzuti out there on the dance floor embarrassing ourselves at a company function and in the conference room making sandwiches and bagging toiletries for the homeless. Whatever it takes to keep our talented staff happy and fulfilled."
HWP and the other Corporate Culture Award recipients are profiled in the November/December issue of SmartCEO magazine.
