Chef Point Cafe Hosts Christmas Paws for a Cause Benefit on Sunday, December 11 from 5 to 9 p.m. to Raise Funds for Dog Rescue

    FORT WORTH, TX, November 15, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- It's going to be tail-wagging good time at Chef Point Cafe in Watauga, Texas on Sunday, December 11, from 5 to 9 p.m. Dog-friendly Chef Point will be serving up tasty gourmet fare and Me & Pooch will be entertaining at the Second Annual 'Christmas Paws for a Cause' concert.

The free concert will raise funds to benefit the homeless dogs at Apollo Support & Rescue, a Justin, TX-based dog rescue. Event organizer Lisa Barlag says, "The money raised will be used exclusively to provide, food, shelter, and medical care to homeless dogs."

"Come join us for a night of music, dancing, fun and food in support of a great cause," said Danielle Stewart, the founder of the rescue group. Apollo Support & Rescue has found permanent homes for more than 1,200 dogs in the five years since it was founded. The group plans to open a no-kill shelter on 5 acres in Justin, TX, in 2017.

"We're a dog-friendly restaurant and honored to host this event for Apollo Support & Rescue, a group that has helped find homes for so many wonderful dogs," said Hope Nwaeze, Chef Point's Marketing Director. Chef Point welcomes well-behaved, leashed dogs to its patio and even has a special doggie menu.

The event will feature door prizes, a silent auction and chances to win gift baskets donated by event sponsors.
