Dr. Tara Hardin of Hardin Advanced Dentistry Inducted into the American Society for Dental Aesthetics (ASDA)

    MASON, OH, November 15, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Hardin Advanced Dentistry announced Thursday that principal dentist Dr. Tara Hardin traveled to Florida's Turnberry Isle Miami resort for her induction into the American Society for Dental Aesthetics (ASDA). According to the ASDA website, members exhibit "a commitment to the highest standards of care and advancement" and seek to improve their practice through continuing education and ongoing involvement in the dental community.

"The American Society for Dental Aesthetics maintains high standards not only for a dentist's skill but also for her dedication to learning and professional development," Dr. Hardin said. The 40th Annual ASDA Conference was held in Miami from Oct. 26 to Oct. 29. Dr. Hardin received a plaque at the conference certifying her status as a member in good standing of the American Society for Dental Aesthetics.

To be eligible for membership, dentists must practice for at least five years or complete two years of training in an approved postgraduate program. They are also required to attend a minimum of two continuing education seminars sponsored by ASDA.

Nomination by a member of ASDA and two recommendation letters from members are also prerequisites. In addition to the membership application, nominees must submit five case histories with images demonstrating how cosmetic dentistry treatment enhanced the patient's smile.

Dr. Hardin has been practicing dentistry for over 15 years. She is passionate about postgraduate training and continuing education, as evidenced by accomplishments such as her accreditation by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and fellowship status with the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.

As a member of the American Society for Dental Aesthetics, Dr. Hardin will enjoy access a wide range of continuing education opportunities, including hands-on workshops, presentations from leaders in the world of aesthetic dentistry, annual conferences and more. Members must attend at least one of the continuing education courses offered by ASDA every other year - a requirement that Dr. Hardin finds exciting.
