WEST LAKE VILLAGE, CA, November 16, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- TEMIA, the Technology Expense Management Industry Association, has come a long way since its founding ten years ago. Initially, a group of CEOs gathered to create an industry association that would set a positive tone for the market and spotlight the benefits its members provide to enterprise clients.
TEMIA's original mission focused on raising awareness, to improve the quality and value of solutions and to cultivate shared industry knowledge for Telecommunications Expense Management (TEM) and Wireless Expense Management (WEM) solutions. Since that time, TEMIA expanded its focus from telecommunications to the technology market and participants in adjacent markets. With this change, TEMIA changed its name from the Telecom Expense Management Industry Association, to the Technology Expense Management Industry Association. The acronym, TEMIA, has remained the same.
TEMIA members want a seat at the table to shape the industry. They also see value in networking with industry leaders and peers to develop business partnerships extending and strengthening their capabilities for clients' needs. They support the Ethics Code. Members also seek knowledge and innovative ways to increase their firms' profits.
