Construction Underway at Burr Ridge Senior Living

    CHICAGO, IL, November 22, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Construction is underway on Burr Ridge Senior Living, a senior living community offering luxury senior living options at an affordable price, including flexible month-to-month leasing options. Burr Ridge Senior Living is a project of Denver-based Spectrum Retirement Communities, one of the top 10 senior housing operators in the United States.

Scheduled to open in late 2018, the 176,000-square-foot community is located at 16W301 91st St., on the southeast corner of Highway 83 and 91st Street. The community is designed to maximize independence, health and security with 174 residences along a continuum of care including Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care and Spectrum's unique Transitional Memory Care program, which supports seniors with extra care while helping them maintain independence.

Architectural firm Vessel Architecture & Design designed the project and construction is being managed by Weis Builders.

The well-appointed residences within the two-story community range in size from studio apartments to two-bedroom, two-bath apartment homes. The property will feature top-flight amenities, chef-prepared dining and Spectrum's signature wellness programs.

Burr Ridge Senior Living is among six communities Spectrum operates in, or has planned for, Greater Chicago. Construction is also underway on Green Oaks Senior Living in Libertyville, with resident move-in scheduled for July of 2017. Westbrook Senior Living, in Streamwood, opened in August, and Lombard Place Assisted Living & Memory Care in Lombard opened last year. Spectrum also operates Three Oaks Assisted Living & Memory Care in Cary and Cedar Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care in Lake Zurich.
