NEW YORK, NY, November 23, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Demo Day is the Big Day for any accelerator. It is the day when progress is measured and the hard work is summed up. Starta Accelerator is thrilled to host its second Demo Day. After the first Demo Day, alumni raised $10M in total from both US and European investors.
On December 1st, 2016, ten hottest Eastern European tech startups that have spent the last three months improving their traction in the U.S. will present their progress to institutional and private investors. Ten startups represent variety of sectors, from health wearables to global air quality forecasts and everything in between. If you want to meet the world's next unicorn startups while they still can be seen together in the same room, this demo day is not to be missed.
As software "eats the world," according to noted investor, Marc Andreessen, Eastern European region has started to come to the forefront as a technology powerhouse and rising star on US startup ecosystem horizon. Jump-started by companies such as Spotify or Vkontakte, otherwise known as "Russia's Facebook," and other pioneers, the startup scene has grown exponentially.
Many of the pitching teams have already tapped into global markets even before they arrived on American shores, inking fresh deals with Fortune 500 companies. Others have accumulated armies of loyal, paying users, and one may radically transform the amusement park experience worldwide.
Despite the limited amount of time, the progress companies have made is impossible to ignore. You will learn exactly how productive these companies have been during their time at Starta Accelerator on December 1st at 9 am. The event will take place in the heart of the city, Times Square. The space has been provided courtesy of Microsoft Ventures.
Demo Day is a private, invite-only event for accredited and active investors to check out our latest accelerator batch of awesome companies with eastern-European roots.
