POMPANO BEACH, FL, November 26, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The current members of the Broward Republican Executive Committee (BREC) Executive Board, minus the current secretary, are seeking re-election after one of the most successful general elections in recent memory. Bob Sutton, Celeste Ellich, and Roger Gingerich are all seeking re-election to continue their success. Their focus is the future and growth of BREC, registering more Republicans in Broward County, and getting Republicans elected. Taking Kristin Matheny's place for secretary is Daniel P. Diaz, a long time conservative and party activist, and a former candidate for Pompano Beach City Commissioner.
During this election the current Executive Board was able to:
• Raise over $60,000 for the first time in years
• Send out over 63,000 precinct letters to registered Republicans
• Print and distribute over 30,000 Voter Guides
• Contribute $10,000 to Republican candidates
• Help four local candidates win their elections
• Make tens of thousands of phone calls for candidates
• Open a BREC Victory Office
Chairman Bob Sutton had the following to say, "This past year has been a life changing event. I am honored to have been part of the team that returned the White House to its intended owners, the American citizens. I look forward to leading BREC with continued tangible results of improvement the next two years as Chairman, and I thank the BREC members for giving me this opportunity."
Current Vice-Chair Celeste Ellich said, "We did a lot this election, and we plan on doing much more under Bob's leadership for Republicans in Broward County."
"I am proud that Bob, Celeste, and Roger asked me to join their slate. I look forward to making BREC grow stronger than it was before with this amazing group of leaders," said Daniel P. Diaz, candidate for BREC Secretary.
Lastly, Roger Gingerich the current Treasurer felt that, "We were able to raise over $60,000 for this past election, and continuing the momentum we will raise even more to get Republicans elected in the midterm elections in 2018."
