SAN DIEGO, CA, December 02, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dawn Saunders, a real estate attorney and partner at Crosbie Gliner Schiffman Southard & Swanson LLP (CGS3), has been elected to the board of NAIOP San Diego, the local chapter of the commercial real estate development association.
In her role as a NAIOP San Diego board member, she will join 2016 President Nelson Ackerly and other directors in promoting the association and the commercial real estate industry through NAIOP's multitude of educational and networking activities as well as legislative affairs strategies.
Saunders, who joined CGS3 earlier this year, has spent more than 20 years concentrating on commercial leasing primarily within the technology, biotechnology/life sciences and laboratory and manufacturing industries. Her experience includes both landlord and tenant representation throughout all asset classes, including complex, build-to-suit development projects.
Saunders is also a member of the board of Athena, a professional organization dedicated to the advancement of women in STEM industries throughout San Diego, and has published several articles on real estate law. She has been recognized for three consecutive years in San Diego Super Lawyers and was honored by the San Diego Business Journal as one of its "Women Who Mean Business."
