CHICAGO, IL, December 03, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Held in one of Manhattan's most impressive venues - Jacob K. Javits Center - Boutique Design New York (BDNY) took place November 13th and 14th. It was a first for the textile line to exhibit at the well respected trade fair - and the first time Brentano previewed the spring 2017 Ceramic collection.
With a pristine signature backdrop, Brentano's display included rich neutrals (with highlights of navy blue and regal red), dramatic texture and the line's most luxurious residential and performance fabrics. Design Director Iris Wang's motivation for the new collection was a focal point of the display - showcasing the handmade pottery that influenced and inspired the newest collection of functional art.
Brentano's BDNY debut proved to be extremely successful. The textile house's indoor/outdoor pattern Solstice was a Best of BDNY finalist at the annual product design competition. Besides the award winning textile - featured highlights included Graviata, a new beautiful cut velvet, as well as the namesake of the earthenware inspired collection, Meiping - both to be released this spring.
