MONTCLAIR, NJ, December 14, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- VR is all the rage after the facebook demo went viral. But is it truly better? The immersive virtual experience allows viewers to fly through a beating heart, travel through the cerebral cortex, and float up the "glass aquarium" like abdominal vein.
"The distinctive nature of VR is very counterintuitive. Although we know what we're seeing isn't real, our mind and body behave as if it were. Its level of immersiveness is unparalleled," said Ashish Khera, Founder, Scientific Animations.
"We have come up with "Fantastic Voyage" to give a glimpse of the potential of the much-talked VR in the healthcare domain, and what the future beholds. Unlike majority VR applications, the purpose of this video goes beyond user engagement. We're attempting to help viewers learn about the human body through a guided tour in an immersive-interactive environ," said Girish Khera, MD Scientific Animations.
So stay tuned for the launch of "Fantastic Voyage" immersive video and interactive app.
Bon voyage!
