LOS ANGELES, CA, December 28, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Grammy nominated and Hugo winner Gabrielle de Cuir will be narrating the mystery and science fiction author Rae T. Alexander's third installment of the paranormal series on Audible called, "The Jo Danning Short Stories." The series features a female detective in North Carolina who solves crimes by interacting with people in other dimensions, including the dead. Gabrielle is replacing New York actress Valerie Gilbert to become the second "Danning Girl."
Gabrielle's company, Skyboat Media, Inc., and the studio has recently produced "The City on the Edge of Forever," on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the launching of Star Trek - the Original Series, the full-cast version of Harlan Ellison's book THE CITY ON THE EDGE OF FOREVER.
Gabrielle de Cuir is a graduate of UCLA's Theatre Arts Department. She is a stage actress, director, and playwright in the Los Angeles area. Her book narration credits include the voice of Valentine in the ENDER'S GAME series by Orson Scott Card.
Upon the announcement, Alexander, President of Beary and Blevins publishing said, "I am so glad and honored to have Gabrielle de Cuir join us on this project."
This is the second reading for Gabrielle for Alexander, the first being the novel The Royal Stones of Eden. That novel was read also by Grammy winner Stefan Rudnicki, another member of the team at Skyboat Media, Inc.
The audible version of That Doctor in the ER is expected to be released in 2017, and it will be available on Audible, Amazon, and iTunes.
Beary and Blevins has helped to produce seven books and three audible books, including the recent self-help book on Creativity, Can't Never Did Do Nothin'.
