A Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Michele Inzelbuch has more than 13 years of relevant experience in both mental health and addiction. Having also since become specialized in addiction therapy, postpartum mental health, and mood disorders, as well as having experience working with law enforcement and military personnel, in July 2016 she opened the doors to her own private practice, Michele D. Inzelbuch, LLC, in the town of Red Bank, New Jersey, Monmouth County.
"Through my practice, I provide a number of services, to include individualized talk therapy support to individuals in recovery from addiction, depression, anxiety, and post-partum depression," Inzelbuch said. "By using a multitude of therapeutic techniques, such as Mindfulness through movement, I can better assist my clients in finding their own personal safe space, enabling them to increase their level of self-esteem, while also decreasing symptoms and triggers, and create personal goals and achievements.
As a Private Therapist, Inzelbuch says that by doing talk therapy she is able to help individuals find their meaning of success and achieve long-term sobriety and stabilization and gain positive life-changing behaviors.
"People struggle with mental health, trauma, and addiction can feel alone and misunderstood and can lose their primary support systems," Inzelbuch added. "I believe in healing people by helping them creating a future self that is filled with meaning and empowerment."
Drawn to work with people and populations that otherwise have limited access to services and therapy, as well as those that may be hesitant to seek available services, Inzelbuch will be offering group therapy sessions and professional seminars in the area of social work in the near future.
Inzelbuch holds her MSW through Monmouth University. In 2017, she will be serving as an Ambassador Mom for Postpartum Progress, which is a mom who has survived Postpartum symptoms and wants to support other mothers in her community, raise awareness or perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and reduce stigma. These women are willing to share their personal stories and receive trainings so that she can share this evidenced-based knowledge with others. Also, in January 2017, Inzelbuch's article, 'Postpartum Mental Health, The Silent Darkness', will be published in Monmouth County, New Jersey's 'The Journal' in their health and wellness section.
"The article was written to help educate people on the symptoms of Postpartum Mental Health and the frequency with which women are affected by this. I am excited to see this published because advocacy and education plays such an important role in assisting people find and receive services.
