Vero's Beach Lifestyle Photo Competition 2017 Announced

    INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FL, January 04, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kick off the new year in style, Lifestyle that is; with Vero Vine's most popular, and third annual Vero's Beach Lifestyle Photo Contest. Vero Vine, which promotes positive change in your Treasure Coast community and maintains the most comprehensive event calendar in Vero Beach and Indian River County has been hosting the largest digital media photo contests in the Treasure Coast for 2.5 years.

This community favorite photo contest appeals to its members asking them to post their interpretation of their own beach lifestyle. The participant who receives the most "likes" on the Vero Vine website will earn the bragging rights as Winner, their photo featured in the Vero Vine weekly newsletter, as well as the $800 First Place prize! But don't fret just yet, there is room in this contest for multiple winners. Vero Vine will also present a second, third, and fourth place prize, along with additional raffle prizes, and as always, a prize for most creative photo! These six incredible prizes bring the overall grand total to over $2,000 to be disbursed to its shutterbug winners! Vero Vine's editors will choose the winners from the top ten most "liked" photos posted to the Vero Vine Contest page. All who enter participate in the fun and just might see their photo or photos reposted in their newsletter or on social media.

The first place prize provided by Stacey Morabito of Dale Sorensen Real Estate: An original Highwaymen painting valued at: $800. It is from her husband Jerry Morabito's private collection. Jerry is well known for his Highwaymen collection and generosity to local charities like the Gifford Youth Achievement Center. Both Stacy Cook and Stacey Morabito request that you hashtag your photos with #veryvero when posting on social media.

Submissions can be made at any time between now and January 31 at 11:59 p.m. EST, 2017. The winners will be announced on February 5, 2017 by 8:00 p.m. in the Vero Vine email newsletter. Prizes from various local businesses include Felicity Images: A photo session with Nellie Quiros and your favorite twenty (Web Ready) images valued at $350. Plank Pilates: Three (3) half hour (30 minute) sessions valued at $150. Signature Art Gallery of Vero: A 16"x20" print on HD Aluminum (Metal) or Canvas valued at $150. Vero Beach Karate Association: One Month of Karate Lessons, Includes Uniform, valued at $120. Community Veterinary Clinic: A (one time) yearly pet wellness exam which includes all vaccines and a heartworm test valued at $100. Vero Vine will announce additional prizes as they are added.

Sponsorship is open for this event, which is expected to reach more than 500,000 Treasure Coast residents. The very popular Vero's Best Dog Photo Contest, held a few months back, garnered more than 900 entries and over 400,000 views, 50,000 votes and included a photo entry of hometown celebrity Jake Owen's dog, Merle!
