"It was definitely an honor to have the privilege of not only working there, but to walk amongst the elite of the U.S. Department of Defense,"
ATLANTA, GA, January 21, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Cumming, GA-based commercial retail installer company Sky Retail Service recently completed work on a retail project with an unlikely address--the Pentagon.
Despite the timing of the job at the end of an election year, this project has been some time in the making. The remodel was connected to a rebranding project phase for military clothing, Express (military gas stations), and Post Exchanges. Sky Retail Service was chosen as a preferred installation vendor for the overall project, totalling at least 50 locations. As part of this rebranding effort, Pentagon's military clothing store (or MCS) remodel was accomplished in just two trips.
The first visit was for a comprehensive site survey, after which it became clear some materials would need to be remade to better fit the space. The second visit was showtime to complete the full decor installation, which included dimensional lettering, vinyl, logos for each military division, and murals dedicated to service members.
Access required a 3-week background check for all workers to be approved onsite, and the job had a tight window for turnaround due to a scheduled grand opening for a book signing with Colin Powell.
Sky Retail performs new store openings and remodels, including installation of fixtures, signage, cabling, and vinyl and commercial wallpaper graphics, as well as site surveys prior to launch. Whether for a single location or 2,000, Sky Retail's team is capable of handling retail rollouts and remodels of any scale.
