Feller to Present Innovative Waxed Cotton Raincoat Collection at Project Womens

Since launching this year, FELLER has grown to 20 pieces, including the Belted Coat, the Queen Anne Topper, The Queen Anne Trench, and the Seattle Cape. Prints offered this spring, include retro-modern navy and grey plaids, vintage inspired navy and khaki woodcuts, a khaki and black silhouetted floral, and a textural grey herringbone. Styles will also be available in solid dark navy with refined contrast zigzag stitching and coordinating Liberty of London floral print lining. "In addition to their functionality, juxtaposing contemporary prints and styling with traditional fabric is what distinguishes my coats in the market and makes them more interesting," says Wendy.

Inspired by the drizzly Seattle weather and at a loss to find a contemporary raincoat for women that could be worn rain or shine, day or night, Wendy found herself sketching her own line. "When I couldn't find what I was looking for, I realized there was a void in the market. I think women are tired of wearing the same big name, technical raincoats. They're looking for something that's functional yet more fashion forward," says Wendy. By incorporating thoughtful design details and using her 30 years of fashion experience, Wendy was able to successfully carve out an outerwear niche for women.

Wendy Feller started her namesake knitwear company in New York where her designs were sold to premier retailers including Henri Bendel, Barney's New York, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, and Saks Fifth Avenue. After moving to Seattle in the early '90s, Wendy worked in-house for Nordstrom designing sweaters for the Classiques Entier line and designing swatches for the knitwear industry.
