Kansai International Airport to Exhibit at the "Travel and Adventure Show 2017" in San Francisco/Bay Area & Los Angeles

    LOS ANGELES, CA, February 08, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kansai International Airport (KIX) will be participating in the "Travel and Adventure Show" being held in San Francisco (Feb. 11-12) and Los Angeles (Feb. 18-19) as KANSAI & Kansai International Airport. KIX will be promoting their direct flights from Kansai International Airport and the U.S. The Los Angeles KIX booth will be bringing in a professional Takoyaki chef for a cultural experience any foodie will enjoy.

KIX offers another method for travelers to reach Japan and experience the culture through a unique region even for Japanese people. The Kansai region promotes 10 prefectures consisting of Osaka, Kyoto, Hyogo, Shiga, Nara, Wakayama, Fukui, Mie, Tokushima, and Tottori.

KIX will be distributing special and traditional snacks found in the Kansai region at both shows. At the Los Angeles Travel and Adventure Show, KIX will promote the Kansai region with fresh Takoyaki cooked up by a local Japanese chef. Takoyaki is a popular food found in Kansai, and is particularly popular with Japanese people.

Kansai International Airport is an access point to the Kansai region, and connects travelers to popular locations such as Kyoto and Osaka. These surrounding areas have been of historical importance for the Japanese, and remains traditional in many ways, including the crafts they continue to cultivate in the region.
