ST. LOUIS, MO, February 24, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- McArthur's Bakery Cafe is beginning to serve up new items on both their food and beverage menus. The changes first began at their Delmar location, and the other stores are implementing the new changes in the upcoming weeks.
Customers can come in and warm up with various soups including hearty beef stew, vegan butternut squash, and broccoli cheddar. Warm sandwiches like the Cubano, grilled chicken sandwich, Italian beef, and BLT are also available.
McArthur's has also added more vegetarian-friendly food items. The Mofu Tofu is a warm sandwich made with local tofu, red peppers, Swiss cheese, banana peppers, and chipotle dressing. For a cold, crisp taste, the Veg Head is a sandwich that is sure to satisfy, made with cucumber, tomato, pickled onion, arugula, Swiss cheese, and miso-mustard dressing.
A new seasonal salad has also made its debut at McArthur's. Their Winter Salad features baby arugula, balsamic, butternut squash, cranberries, candied walnuts, and Parmesan cheese.
As for beverages, McArthur's is proud to offer coffee and tea from local cafe Park Avenue Coffee. Customers can indulge in hot or iced coffees, various types of lattes, espresso, and hot tea.
Finally, McArthur's has added four delicious smoothies to their menu. Patrons can choose among strawberry banana, 4 Berry Blast, carrot ginger orange, and mango smoothies for a sweet, refreshing taste.
McArthur's has partnered with Chef Josh Charles to ensure that the new menu items are created with fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients, which make for a mouth-watering, savory experience.
