"We know that the world is going crazy with challenges, so we decided to leverage this trend to send our message out into the world" says Luciana Rosu-Sieza, Executive Director of BANA.
WINDSOR, ON, March 09, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- In a world where obesity is the hot topic in many conversations, we often neglect the other side of this coin as it relates to eating disorders. Approximately 40% of North Americans have personally experienced anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa or know someone who has. That is a troubling statistic, because we often think that whoever is not overweight is automatically on the safe side of health.
The Bulimia Anorexia Nervosa Association (BANA) has recently launched a creative campaign to clarify where beauty exists...You guessed it, within.
BANA has launched an online challenge called Colour Me Blind. People place a blindfold on and apply makeup to their friend or loved one for one minute straight. The goal of this campaign is to raise funds for BANA programs and services while promoting a message that will resonate in many hearts, "beauty is found within."
To join the challenge, simply navigate to BANA's challenge page at excideo.com/bana and click ACCEPT, the rest is effortless.
"We know that the world is going crazy with challenges, so we decided to leverage this trend to send our message out into the world," says Luciana Rosu-Sieza, Executive Director of BANA. "If you believe that beauty is found within, then we challenge you to Colour Me Blind. We hope to raise funds for our organization and showcase to the world that we all share the same vision on beauty."
