Berwick, PA Youngster Recording New Song for Charity

    BERWICK, PA, March 09, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Since age 8, Twelve year old Rose Ostrowski of Berwick, PA has been singing, recording and performing to help educate and raise money to help find to cure for cystic fibrosis, a disease that took her cousin Camillia in 2012.

Since her cover of The Beatles hit 'Let it Be' in 2012, Ostrowski went on to record a cover of Tesla's 'Life is a River' in 2015. In both cases, all of the song download proceeds went to the foundation. In 2015 she kicked off her first annual "Adding Tomorrows" Mall Tour, and she recently finished her second annual tour, which benefited the same cause.

Every year brought more experiences and courage to the young talent, who has had the privilege to be on air with numerous radio and TV station personalities. Her mission and work was also shared in a wide variety of newspapers and with many popular musicians and bands.

Recently, Rose was interviewed for a feature that will run in the April edition of Lehigh Valley Style magazine. The magazine is in Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley and covers the most remarkable people, places and things in its area. They also seek out the lesser-known or unique aspects of Valley living, and the most venerable institutions and individuals in their area to profile.

Part of her interview from ASR Media Productions, the creators of meaningful media such as Emmy award winning The PEAK TV, Lehigh Valley's premier lifestyle program airing locally on WFMZ - Channel 69. Ostrowski's segment will air in April.

In recent weeks Rose has been working with Bill Leverty on her third cover single, which will be released this spring. Leverty is a well known guitarist from the band FireHouse. He is also a well-known producer that had mixed and engineered her first two cover singles.

Ostrowski has several upcoming performances planned, including the grand opening of TJ MAXX at the Laurel Mall in West Hazleton, PA and the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Great Strides Walk for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation on Saturday, May 13. Just for fun every Saturday night, she sings a few live songs from her parent's garage, which can be viewed on Facebook LIVE.
