Curvy Chick Fitness Teams Up With Jack Rabbit Stores & Celebrity Guest Super Bowl XLVII Champion Bernard Pierce & LHHNY Sofi Greene For "Healthy Heart NY" Community Run

    NEW YORK, NY, March 26, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Underscoring their ongoing commitment to community health, celebrity fitness instructor Charity Lynette is teaming up with Jack Rabbit Stores and special celebrity guest, & Super Bowl XLVII champion Bernard Pierce of the Denver Broncos & Love & Hip Hop NY star Sofi Green for "Healthy Heart NY". It's a series of running events around the city, to encourage better cardiovascular health among all New Yorkers. For this second event in the series, Charity, Bernard and Sofi will do a Meet & Greet and run, at 6:30 PM on Monday, March 27, at Jack Rabbit 1051 3rd Avenue, NYC. The free fitness gathering is open to people of all ages and fitness levels, and is designed to promote heart health awareness and more active living.

Other celebrity guests are invited to join with our hosts, to make a statement on community fitness. Charity Lynette is the CEO of Curvy Chick Fitness, a dynamic, motivational company dedicated to helping women live their best lives through diet and exercise regimens that complement their bodies, whatever shape or size they may be. Ms. Lynette has been featured in such media as the NY Daily News, CNN, Black Enterprise Magazine, Plus Model Magazine, TV One, and eHow.com. Each 1 to 2-mile run will include a short break at the local Jack Rabbit store, and celebrity guests who run with us will be a vital part of inspiring and motivating ordinary New Yorkers to get fit and active! Charity gets the newcomers going, while celebrity guests take the asphalt with more experienced runners. After the run is completed, Charity interviews the special celebrity guests, giving them an opportunity to promote their latest projects or brands directly to the community, on a one-on-one basis.

Celebrity guest Bernard Pierce played with the 2012 Super Bowl-winning Baltimore Ravens, and was recently signed with the Denver Broncos as a running back. From his days as a collegiate player at Philadelphia's Temple University, where he was named 2009's Freshman Of The Year, Bernard has had the gridiron in his soul. He is delighted to reach out to New York City, with a heartfelt, heart-healthy message for everyone.

Our other Celebrity guest Sofi Greene is a native of Washington DC that currently resides in Brooklyn. Musically Sofi is an evolving piece of art with a unique mash-up style of hip- hop & pop music. Sofi is gearing up to release her highly anticipated EP titled "MINNY JACKSON". Among her other major accomplishments was co-hosting Angela Yee's LIP SERVICE & Taxstone's TAX SEASON, featuring on Vogue's style website, gracing the screen as an on air personality for MTV Jams, being a cast member on Love & Hip Hop NY and creating a jewelry line (ETOILE VIE).
