Support Delphi Academy of Boston's May 6th Hike/Bike-a-Thon!

    MILTON, MA, April 06, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- For the last 36 years, Delphi Academy of Boston has held an annual hike/bike-a-thon fundraiser. The school invites all students and alumni to support the school's ongoing expansion goals for their 37th Bike-a-Thon on May 6th from 10:30am to 2:30pm in North Easton at the Borderland State Park. Proceeds from such events make it possible for the Delphi Academy to foster an even better educational experience for their students.

Not only is the day a great fundraiser for the school, it also serves as a wonderful family picnic day. The children hike or ride bikes and get to enjoy the company of friends and family over lunch. Students take sponsored bike rides and hikes in the Borderland State Park to raise funds toward this year's $30,000 fundraising goal. The funds raised will provide the needed resources for expanding the school's classrooms and sprucing up the school's physical plant. With funds raised in years prior, Delphi Boston installed a basketball fence, added playground surfacing, acquired iPads and math fact computers, and funded a much-needed roof replacement over the elementary school classrooms. Delphi Academy of Boston is a non-profit 501(c)3, and donations made to the school through this fundraiser are tax-deductible. Delphi Academy of Boston is an independent, coeducational, non-sectarian day school offering a preschool through eighth grade program.
