WHITE PLAINS, NY, April 13, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Following one of its core principles of cultivating a love for reading as early as possible, Prospect Academy of Westchester invited Alexandra Boiger to open the door into the world of book-making and illustrating. Besides the standard book-reading part, students will get to develop their own storyline and draw the characters.
"At Prospect Academy of Westchester, we believe that creating and cultivating the desire for knowledge is the most crucial task of pre-school education. We strive to introduce every learning concept to our kids in the most fun and interactive way possible. Hence, when it comes to reading, we thought that doing a hands-on session that involves drawing and imaginative play will be the most effective and interesting way to get our kids excited about reading," said Lada Tillmann, Program Director at Prospect Academy of Westchester.
"I am certain that reading is the key to a happier, more vibrant and thriving childhood. I am delighted to see it being such a priority at Prospect Academy of Westchester and look forward to being part of this wonderful initiative," said Alexandra Boiger.
