Pay-O-Matic Aims to Plant 1,000 Trees to Celebrate Arbor Day

Pay-O-Matic aims to plant one thousand trees to mark the holiday, and the company is enlisting customers to help it reach that goal.

"We're asking customers who visit any of our 150 stores to like us on Facebook, and we'll plant at least a thousand trees," said Jay Guskind, President and CEO of Pay-O-Matic.

Arbor Day is a national holiday on which individuals and groups are encouraged to plant and care for trees. The holiday, which is observed on the last Friday in April, falls on April 28 this year.

Pay-O-Matic will make a donation to the Arbor Day Foundation to plant the trees. Founded in 1972, the Arbor Day Foundation is the nation's largest non-profit membership organization dedicated to planting trees.
