IIM Alumnus Invented "Waterless Bathing Technology" for Soldiers and Patients

Founder and CEO of CleanLife, Dr. Puneet Gupta, an acclaimed imaging and healthcare technologies expert, have a plethora of experience in this domain. Dr.Gupta has played key roles during implementation of a number of military and scientific programs with DRDO, MoD and MEA in the areas of imaging and healthcare. During his work tenure, he has closely observed the lifestyles and working conditions of Defence personnel. It is due to his personal experience of living with the commands, that he is able to completely understand their problems and needs. He observed and studied their conditions in adverse weather conditions like storms, blizzards, scorching heat of 50 degree and temperature as down as -40 degrees. Besides these hardships, one of the biggest problems encountered by our Soldiers is availability of water for personal hygiene and sometimes even for drinking at high altitudes as well as in hot and humid areas. Time and again it has been brought into consideration and recommended that military health should be of uttermost priority when gauging our defence preparedness.

After closely studying these situations, Dr. Gupta took an initiative to minimise the problems of sanitation water for our Indian soldiers by designing and developing a whole range of personal care products.

He says, "Our products are a solution to many challenges faced by people in conditions where water is scarcely available. The constituents of our bathing and hair-wash products make soldier feel clean and refreshed. This is a popular product used in homecare needs, by army troops and hospitals treating patients prescribed to take bed-rest and more. We have been inspired by our PM "Make in India" vision and further plans to manufacture the products in India itself. He also added that they are doing research currently to launch Waterless Toothpaste and Waterless Face wash very soon."
