Fourth Annual Grief Support Network's Gratitude Gala Celebrates the Power of Community, New Inspirations and a Unique Opportunity to Create Impact for Boulder County

    BOULDER, CO, May 05, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Local non-profit organization the Grief Support Network celebrates its fourth annual Gratitude Gala with a Farm to Table experience that curates an intimate and unforgettable evening of leaders, innovators and changemakers to ignite the trajectory of healing grief and the stigma around it in Boulder county. The fundraising dinner will be held on May 18th from 5:30 -8:30 pm at the Lone Hawk Farm in Longmont. In addition to creating connections within the vibrant, supportive community of Boulder, GSN will unveil its newest program, "It Takes a Village: Meal Delivery Service". The pilot begins in June with the support of five local restaurants and a volunteer-based network that is trained to deliver nourishing, healthy meals and then "sit" with families in the acute phase of grief. Gala participants will be the first to learn the scope of vision for "It Takes a Village" - a multi-faceted, all-encompassing approach to ensure that our community can respond in a timely way to the tremendous need of nurturing its families in times of grief.
