The 2017 Creative + Investor Summit To Be Held At Eagle Rock Studios June 8th In Atlanta

    ATLANTA, GA, May 12, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ritz Group will host the 2017 Creative + Investor Summit at Eagle Rock Studios as an extension of its 3rd Annual Entertainment Shark Attack. The June 8th event, produced this year by Matchbook Media Group, is focused on educating the investor class on the risks, mitigated risks and rewards of entertainment production while empowering the creative community.

The Summit begins with a VIP Studio Tour at the largest soundstage under one roof in the United States, Eagle Rock Studios. Attendees will then hear a State of the Industry Address from State representatives and the Atlanta City Council. County representatives from Gwinnett, Dekalb and the surrounding areas are also invited to appear. Following is a presentation from SAG-AFTRA and the Georgia Production Partnership, including co-author of the Georgia Investment Act and noted Actor Ric Reitz. Georgia Production Partnership representatives will speak for a brief moment about GPP, their goals, core values and the benefits of being a sponsor or member of GPP.

After the welcome and introductions, panels and workshops will begin as noted below:

The capstone Entertainment Shark Attack event, created by Ritz Group visionary Larry White, has been produced by Bernadette Boas(Ball of Fire Media) for two years with at-capacity crowds. Together with Matchbook Media Group principals Taylor Owenby and Noah Scammon, Ritz Group and Ball of Fire Media both expect this year's event to be the best to-date. The Shark Attack panel judges will be giving feedback from select pitches and will then pass, accept or recommend the project for funding. This year's panel include:

- Academy Award-winning Director and Executive Producer for The Weather Channel, John C. Joseph
- Equity Fund Principal Chad Hagan with Hagan Capital Group and Arcadia Entertainment, LLC.

The mission for the Creative + Investor Summit is to empower Georgia to become a Producer State through strategic collaborations between the creative and investor class to unify and generate greater returns for the community.
