ALBUQUERQUE, NM, May 17, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Winners of six thousand dollars in scholarships have been announced by Bert Parnall of Parnall Law. Entrants were asked to, in 500 words or less, tell us "What Justice Means to You". The contest was open to all New Mexico High School students between 13 and 18 years old. Entries were judged on originality and caliber of responses. Cash awards will be made directly to scholarship programs of winning students. Read the winning scholarship essays on our website here.

- Luis Calderon - Atrisco Heritage Academy HS $1,000
- Nina Morales - Albuquerque High School $1,000
Originally, five thousand dollars was to be awarded but, due to the number of high quality responses an additional $1,000 award was added.
Albuquerque Public School Foundation Board of Directors has announced that these winning students will be honored at various assemblies and ceremonies at their respected schools over the next several weeks.
