CHICAGO, IL, May 29, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- As part of the educational program of Les Roches Chicago, students had a great chance to experience first-hand the atmosphere of entrepreneurship through a trip to Silicon Valley. The goal of the BBA course is to train not just top-class hospitality managers but also inspire students to be innovators in their field of operation. That is why the exposure to the world center of all innovations through this trip perfectly blended into the curriculum.
As part of their travel, students not only just took a look at the inner-work of some of the most renowned tech companies in the world but also were able to communicate with some of the executives and managers, who shared their extensive experience. This was a great opportunity to soak in some knowledge related to building up and running a business. The companies, which participants visited, included not only corporate giants like Google, but also some of the startup businesses. This gave students a broader view and brought an interesting perspective on building the idea from the ground up.
Plus, the entire trip allowed students to take a look at their field from a completely different side, exploring how modern technology blends with hospitality, further improving their overall understanding of the industry.
Learning from the industry's top professionals was always part of the Les Roches Global Hospitality Education way and LRC has adopted this methodology as well. On top of educational merit, this trip was a great opportunity for students to simply have some fun and experience the city of San Francisco.
