Read the camp's care package policy carefully! Many camps make changes from year to year!
FAIRFIELD, CT, June 01, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Are you planning on sending your child, or grandchild, a camp care package this year? Here's a few simple tips to avoid having that package arrive late....or not at all!
1.Know the camp's care package policy! Most camps have a list of verboten items such as food and electronics, but more and more camps are limiting the number and size of the packages that your child can receive. If your package doesn't cut the mustard, it will be sent back!
2.Check the address! Twice. Lots of camps have both winter and summer addresses. They might also have a separate address for packages.
3.Plan on an extra day for delivery with in the camp! Usually camps do not delivery the packages on the same day that they are received.
4.Include your daytime phone number when ordering with an online company! Sigh. We get several orders each day with incorrect credit card info, undeliverable addresses, or missing gift card messages. The sooner we can correct the mistakes, the faster we can get the package out!
5.Don't forget a gift message! Keep it short and keep it sweet. It's the thought that counts.
6.We recommend USPS Priority Mail. Priority take 1-3 business days and those postal workers are great with remote locations!
