Panitch Schwarze Hires New Executive Director

    PHILADELPHIA, PA, June 07, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Philadelphia and Wilmington intellectual property law firm Panitch Schwarze Belisario & Nadel is proud to announce the hiring of Gail W. Ruopp as the firm's new executive director.

Ruopp brings more than 25 years of professional experience in senior law firm management to Panitch Schwarze. Holding an MBA in finance and accounting, she has served as president of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) and is active in numerous professional legal associations.

"As one of the most respected law firm administrators in the Philadelphia area, Gail possesses a deep understanding of today's legal market realities," said firm partner Martin G. Belisario. Ruopp comes to Panitch Schwarze after years of serving as executive director at New York City and Philadelphia area law firms, including 15 years as executive director at Flaster/Greenberg P.C.

In her role as executive director, Ruopp oversees administrative operations including financial, accounting, lateral recruiting, personnel, operations, systems and marketing. In addition, she supervises the firm's support staff.

An active member of the Philadelphia chapter of ALA, Ruopp has held various leadership positions within the organization over the years. She also is active in numerous professional organizations including the Legal Marketing Association Metropolitan Philadelphia Chapter; the Delaware Valley Law Firm Marketing Group; Executive Women International; the International Legal Technology Association; Women in eDiscovery; and the Philadelphia Bar Association. She also has authored numerous articles for legal publications over the course of her career.

Ruopp graduated first in her class as summa cum laude from Rider University with a bachelor's degree in Management Organization and Behavior. She also earned an MBA, cum laude, with an emphasis in accounting and finance from Rider University.
