Mycotoxins are poisons created and released by molds and fungi. While many mycotoxins are largely harmless to humans, this is not always the case. These results can indicate the need for decontamination by an environmental inspector. ERMI tests may also be useful for getting landlords or employers to recognize contaminated environments.
