Maintenance & Repair Day will offer case study presentations and panel discussions, roundtable talks and networking opportunities. Conference passes include free Wi-Fi, complimentary coffee, a networking lunch, and a happy hour. WorkBoat Annual Conference Half-Day Programs
Broken out across two days, these new half-day conference sessions will focus on three sectors: "Shipyards," "Inland/Passenger Vessel," and "Offshore". Each half-day program will feature a combination of roundtable discussions and interactive presentations. There will also be a series of networking events for idea sharing and problem solving.
Shipyard Program
From design and construction trends to technological advancements and regulatory compliance, this half-day program will provide an unprecedented opportunity for those in the shipyard industry to learn about and discuss the latest trends, challenges and best practices.
Inland/ Passenger Vessel Program
From aging inland infrastructure and the modernization of the tug and barge and towboat fleets to the booming passenger vessel and ferry market, the Inland & Passenger Vessel track will address the issues and opportunities in this important sector.
Offshore Program
Some officials and others have been more optimistic recently that an improved offshore energy market is on the way. Additionally, emerging markets such as offshore wind power continue to gain momentum. This track will address the critical issues affecting the offshore industry as well as the trends that will continue to sustain the sector in the future.
The WorkBoat Annual Conference is developed by the editors of WorkBoat.com, WorkBoat magazine, and the WorkBoat Content Team. In addition, a maritime industry advisory board helps identify key topics and speakers.
