NEW YORK, NY, July 10, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Nancy McDonald, Manager of Imaging Services at Northwestern Memorial Hospital has been selected to join the Industry Board at the American Health Council. She will be sharing her knowledge and expertise on Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging.
With over three decades of experience in the field of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, Nancy offers valuable insight in his role as the Manager of Imaging Services at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Ranked as the eighth in the nation, Northwestern Memorial Hospital serves as an academic medical center focused on the improvement of patient care in the community. NMH prides itself in providing an array of services while catering to the needs of the patient and their families.
As the Manager of Imaging Services at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Nancy's day-to-day responsibilities include management and operations of three ultrasound departments, nuclear medicine, radiation safety and all aspects of the field.
In 2010, Nancy earned her Master of Health Administration from St. Francis University and is a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT).
Nancy developed the desire to pursue the field of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging after a suggestion by a professor as pre-medicine major. She attributes her success to her extraordinary drive to succeed and her willingness to be the best.
To further develop her professional career, Nancy maintains affiliation with the Radiological Society of North America. She has served as the President of the Central Chapter for the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her three children: Bobby, Danny, and Katie. She volunteers with the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, Animal Rescue and Church Organizations.
