Silicon Valley's Darby Smart Launches "Influencer-in-Training" Program for The Next Generation of Digital Talent

    SAN FRANCISCO, CA, July 19, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Darby Smart, the video community watched by 50 million people monthly, lets you watch and make your own videos and chat live with others. This summer, the Company has launched its Influencer-in-Training program to help train the next generation of digital talent and has selected 300 college students from across the nation to participate.

In Darby Smart's Influencer-in-Training Program, college students get 6 weeks of training from leading experts who reveal the key ingredients to video stardom including: Defining Your Brand; Secrets to Engaging Videos; Distributing Content and Building a Loyal Audience. "Darby Smart's mission is to help the next generation of makers grow their voice through video," said Nicole Farb, CEO of Darby Smart. "We know we're at a critical moment in time when the way video is created and talent emerges is changing dramatically and we're excited to help lead the way in this evolution."

The 300 college students were selected because they're each passionate about storytelling and video and want to to learn from top talent, develop critical video storytelling skills and build their portfolios. At the end of the program, top performing students will fly to Darby Smart's San Francisco office to meet media experts, collab with each other and shoot their own promo in Darby Studios.
