As such, the firm actively aims to recruit driven and ambitious individuals who are aligned with their mission to become one of the leading firms in the sales and marketing industry.
Last week, the firm held one of their daily motivational sessions on the importance of having a good work ethic and explained how this quality is one of the most pivotal components of success. During the session, the firm cited an interview with the hugely successful actor Will Smith, where he stated he prides himself on his impeccable work ethic and believes that he considers his approach to work to be solely responsible for his successful career.
Explaining what sets him apart to his peers, Will Smith said;
"The only thing that I see that is distinctly different about me is I'm not afraid to die on a treadmill. I will run, and I will not be outworked. Period. You might have more talent than me. You might be smarter than me. You might be sexier than me. You might be all of those things you've got it on me on in nine categories. But if we get on the treadmill together, there are two things; you're getting off first, or I'm going to die. It's really that simple."
BGMC found that this concept resonated with their core beliefs and are now urging young professionals to adopt this concept and are now urging young professionals to adopt a good work ethic in order to increase their chances of success.
In a survey conducted by the Pew Research Centre found that 57 percent of Americans disagreed with the statement "success in life is pretty much determined by forces outside our control." BGMC believes that this shows that a strong work ethic is ingrained in society and that a majority of individuals are willing to go above and beyond in order to achieve their desired level of success.
A spokesperson for the firm said "The aim of this workshop was to make our employees aware that they can achieve anything just as long as they apply the right amount of effort. By merely being willing to go the extra mile and refusing to give up, they are automatically increasing their chances of success and setting themselves apart from their peers."
