BHS Introduces the Pallet Carousel & Skid Positioner

    ST. LOUIS, MO, August 21, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- BHS, Inc., a leading manufacturer of battery handling and warehouse equipment, recently introduced the Pallet Carousel & Skid Positioner (PCP). This ergonomic lift table self-levels to a comfortable height and rotates pallets for easy access.

The Pallet Carousel & Skid Positioner has a small base so workers can stand closer to pallets and keep heavy items closer to their core. The full 360-degree tabletop rotation keeps reaching to a minimum. BHS engineers designed every aspect of the PCP with worker safety and productivity in mind.

The Pallet Carousel & Skid Positioner comes in two models that are both self-leveling--one spring-operated and the other pneumatic. The spring-operated model contains three heavy-duty springs that automatically adjust pallet height. It is completely automatic and requires no power or air supply.

The pneumatic model has a 7-ply reinforced airbag and can be disconnected from the air supply once inflated. Both models come with a variety of optional features.

"One of the advantages of manufacturing our equipment on site is that we can offer a large number of customizations," said Bowen. "Whether a buyer wants casters for added mobility or a stainless steel carousel for hygienic applications, we're equipped to add those features."

Both self-leveling models have dampeners to provide smooth, gradual raising and lowering without bounce. Sealed ball bearings make rotating the tabletop effortless.

Two-way fork pockets allow forklifts to move the PCP and a powder coat finish helps the equipment endure harsh warehouse environments. The stable design of the Pallet Carousel & Skid Positioner eliminates the need to anchor the unit to the floor.
